Week one, start at 95 degrees. Drop the temp 5 degrees per week. After 6 weeks, you should be at about the ambient air temperature during the day. At that point, I switch to a 100 watt heat lamp and only use it at night to prevent it from dropping after dark. When the chicks are fully feathered, usually 8 - 12 weeks, you can turn them out to be on their own.
