Crowing
This may be a stupid question, but beginner here! When a hen goes broody, does she only sit on her own eggs? Or will she steal eggs from another nest?
I'm asking because I have frizzled hens and recently acquired a frizzle rooster. Definitely don't want to hatch any frazzles! I can't keep them separated at the moment, so IF one of the frizzle hens goes broody I was just going to break her/take the eggs.
The real question is, if one of my smooth hens goes broody can I trust that she's just on her own eggs and not an accidental frazzle egg? I really hope this all makes sense.....
