Question about buying chicks

I plan to start my flock soon, I've found a type of "hatchery" though it only specialises in one breed.
My coop should hold 6-8 hens, but I can only order 30 chicks at a time. My question is, Could I sell the other chicks when they are out the brooder, or is there other methods that you have used?

try mypetchicken.com they have tons of breeds great costomer servise and will send city folk as few as 3 chicks. I just got a beautiful group of 10 yeterday.

opps just relised you are in south africa......I'm sure you can sell the rest of the chicks easy. Maybe even make a profit, lots of people in our area do just that every year.

If there is no other place that you can purchase chicks from then YES, I would buy 30 and sell 25 of them at 6 weeks old.

Last month I bought 90 chicks and sold or gave away 62 of them, making my chicks more than free!
