Question about chick feed

So I have my 8 week old chicks on 20% starter/grower feed and it says on the back of the bag to switch them to 15% grower/finisher at 10 weeks i think I would be fine just giving them 16%Layer feed but I wanted to if it was ok to give it to them...

If it was me I would do it..
At 10 weeks of age they have a lot of growing to do and don't need all the extra calcium that is in layer feed.
I would not start them on a layer till they start to lay..
