question about chicken mites

Yesterday we went out and thorouly. Cleaned pens and dunked birds. All was well today and one hour later onè bird dead. She had blood on her leg. Looked tonight with flashlight and thought I saw a might.not sure. Saw something crawl..little dots..I guess I'll have to get sevin tomorow..u think thatwill save my last two birds?

Quite a few.even last week was maybe 5 or 6..we thought it was our second time a cat maybe clawed fthem but we already had put smaller fence up.even thought they might be hurting themselves in cage...so made sure no nail tips and soft fence..a lot of them had wounds to the eye area or wing or now the leg
