have you found your babies raised by their Momma to be less friendly than babies raised soley by humans?
I've got my first brood with a Momma hen & these babies will run from me, they scream, scratch & squeel to get away from me.
When my adults birds were small they let me pick them right up from the brooder and carry them around.
I'm forcing the new babies to let me hold them because i want them to be as docile as the rest of my flock. Momma does not care that I touch them, she's fine with it.
Any tips on how to get these babies to like me more?
