I'm building a new coop and run. The run is built on a bit of a hill and the hen house would be built
on "stilts" holding up the hen house....the hens would access the hen house from the run.
I know most hen houses are elevated from the run and the hens climb up a ramp to enter....or the hen
house is at least level with the run. My question is does anyone see any issues if the hens had to walk
DOWN a slight ramp to enter the hen house... and then jump up a slight amount to get into the nest boxes.
see attached drawing and thanks for the insights.

Up or down to the coop would not be an issue. The idea of the elevated coop is to keep it high and dry from flooding rains and easy of access for people (no fun to crawl or be on your knees daily for coop maintenance).
