Question about coop use at night

Our run is completely wrapped in hardware cloth and locked shut, as is the screen door on the coop. The pop door between coop and run is open during the summer, so the hens could definitely roost out in the run if they wanted to. So far, they prefer the roosting in the coop to the run, so they put themselves to bed every night. Love to see the different position shuffling every day during chicken night-nights!
