question about day 18..

Ok I know I take the eggs out of the turner, I plan on using an egg carton for the eggs. I know I take out the turner... but do I also take out the plastic tray and wire mesh? I saw a pic on here and their bator only has a few sponges and that squishy cabinet liner in there. I like this idea because i wont get the wire and liner all nasty when the eggs hatch. Anywho what should I do?

I use cheese cloth over the wire mesh on day 18.After the hatch I just fold up the cheese cloth with all the shells,etc.,and throw it away. Pretty easy!
