QUESTION about day 21

try to do other activity, better if you have job to do, it will make your attention being *blurred*/divided so you will *forget* the bator.

Well i went to work and came home and the one that had a pip in it still hasn't
zipped. Just the same size hole. There is another one that has a pip in it but it hasn't started zipping either. Nothing out of the other 7 at all!
Oh it has got me worried!!!!! My last hatch was so bad that i am afraid something
will happen bad again! How should I no if they need help or not?
thanks.

My first hatch just ended a few days ago. Some chicks zipped fairly quickly after they pipped, and others took many, many hours. Just give it time and leave the bator closed!

as long as your humidity is in the 80s they'll most likely hake it out. however if it is low then they will dry up and die inside the egg. helping them out usually kills them anyway. I think they need to come out on there own. i helped one of mine out and it's neck was bent sideways it made it one day then died.

Mine hatched with the humidity in the 60's and I know some people keep it lower than that.
