So I went to make myself some breakfast of the last egg of my outdoor chickens eggs (seems they have stopped laying in the cold) and the first 3 eggs from my new indoor serama. I don't have a rooster outside, so I've never had fertile eggs until my seramas. I was wondering if the these two eggs with the nifty little circles are fertile?! (top and bottom eggs in the pic)

That being said - the larger one (top) is from my OUTSIDE EE... who is new to my flock and was laying before I got her, but has been with me for a month (she is my only blue egg layer so it simply has to be from her) so I was wondering, for how long can a chicken have fertile eggs after mating?

Yes the bulls eye means fertile
I believe one mating can last 14 days... Or so I have read...
Some people seperate the birds for 3-4 weeks if they are trying to breed true though (just in case)
