At what age do I stop giving my chickens as much food as they like. I put out enough that it takes them a few days to a week to get it eaten. They are almost four weeks old now, and they don't seem to be pigging out as of yet. However I was wondering about the age when I should stop giving food overnight. When I do stop placing food overnight; do I also leave the waterer out too?

I stopped leaving feed out for my chickens when i put them in the coop at 8 weeks old.I leave water outside the coop in there pen,so when they are let out of the coop in the morning they can get there water and i just give them a scoop everyday there almost two years old and they are happy as can be:)
