my dad's muscovy hen laid some eggs recently. 4 of them are probobly about 5 days old and 1 for sure is 2 days old. she only laid 5 and isn't sitting on them (brooding) yet. she was laying about 1 a day but stoped laying 2 days ago. she recently had 14 eggs and we ended up getting 4 ducklings from them. when they were a week old is when she started laying again. is that too soon after the first hatch for these eggs to be fertile? also if i candle them will they start showing veins yet if they're fertile or not until they've been in an incubator for a week? i ordered an incubator this weekend but it won't be here till wed or thurs. i wanted to try incubating these eggs if there's a chance they're fertile because she lost a lot of the others last time. it was her first time laying eggs and brooding though, she's still young. anyway just want to know if there's a chance these eggs are fertile so i can try to hatch them
