Question about fertilized eggs

How long a chicken will lay fertilized eggs after mating a rooster? i.e. I had a rooster with some hens and I sold the rooster before a week and want to incubate some eggs I collected from the chickens after selling the rooster( I collected them today and yesterday), are they still fertilized and ready to be incubated ?

Could be. I've heard stories of eggs being fertilized up to 4 weeks past last breeding. Best bet is to crack one open and see.

The sperm is good for around 2 weeks. So if he hasn't been gone for over two weeks, go for it!
