question about genetics

    to make a long story short [​IMG]
    do chicks have genes from one and only one roo?
    I have all golden laced cochins but for a while we had a "rescue roo" around and now I have some chicks with "questionable" parentage
    the chicks can't get genetic material from more than one roo can they?

    No. It's one sperm to one egg, so far as I am aware.
