Question about grit.

Me chicks are about 3 months old and free range during the day and go into pen at night.

I have them on medicated starter for their regular feed.

Do I need to be adding /offering grit?

Doesn't hurt to have grit on hand for them, but if they are free ranging and in areas where there are little rocks/pebbles..... they should be eating those and be sufficient enough for them. I still have an almost full bag from years ago that I stopped giving them since I wasn't even sure if they are even consuming it.

I’ll try to pick some up. I don’t really know if they get enough from the yard.
