So I have a question for you all who have this incubator. I was misting the eggs twice a day per Dickey during lockdown, including when the chicks were hatching, but then it got pretty crowded in there. Some seemed pinned between the eggs and the lid, so I had to pull the tray out, lift the lid and get the chicks out. I've done this twice now, as quickly as I can and misted the eggs immediately afterward. But the hatching has stopped, even though there's a bunch of eggs partly unzipped and pipped.
What kind of hatch rates do you get in the 2x2, with how many eggs, and how do you remove the chicks? Is the misting the eggs enough?
