I'm not exactly falling apart. I'm more of making an effort to remove parts on accident.

Sliced off a good chunk of skin from the underneath of my left index toe a couple days ago. On the vacuum base. It's not actually sharp. Neither one of us can figure out how I did it.

Then I got asked where the bruise on my belly came from. What bruise? Sure enough big dark bruise. No idea. I also do not bruise easy at all. I just don't remember walking into anything that hard.

I sure will. Part of me is ready to let them go right now, but I also am wondering if it would be good to have the old hens around when the young cockerels start feeling their hormones. Would the old hens keep the cockerels in line and teach them some manners???

Sometimes they do that. At least I have heard about it working that way.

Wow lost my best EE to the heat yesterday darn it.
I will give mine frozen veggies in heat.
Won't have veggies from the garden this year.
Just cannot dedicate the time right now.

I'm so sorry for your loss ((((hugz))))). Me too no garden this year maybe next year will be better.

I just got back from a roadtrip to the Longview FredMeyer to stock up on deals, including some ribeye steaks. There's a limit of 2 family packs of the steaks, and they've gotten sneaky lately. Family packs used to have 3 steaks, now a family pack has just two. Four big steaks is enough I guess.

I hardly ever go to Grocery Outlet but stopped this time, and I'm glad. They had Kraft honey mustard salad dressing 3 bottles for a dollar. Big cans (28 oz?) of Contadina tomatoes, 2 for a dollar and 15 oz cans of organic tomato sauce 3 for a buck. I think I have enough tomatoes and sauce to last me until my tomatoes start producing.

Grocery Outlet is one of those stores where you have to know the regular price for things at other stores. Sometimes you can find good deals, sometimes its cheaper elsewhere

Great haul there @Smokerbill. We're heading to FM tomorrow. I just stocked up on steaks at Costco, so I guess I missed that one.

I don’t go often either but when I do I always wonder why I don’t go more often ! You never know what you’ll find there.
