Heel low:
Second stalk gave four more blossoms. Been an amazing display.
FINALLY got some real Alberta snows. Always has to warm up to snow so risk is you get humidity but not this time...dry like sand. Easy to sweep away and no making snowballs or persons.
Made "Jamie's Best Roast Potatoes"...spouse ate half this pan once I completed them. I laughed..."So you like them do you?" I don't eat taters but he does.
Took a course on making a Métis wrapped beaded lanyard on the 17th and quite enjoyed it...just have to cover the one end and think I'll try and recall how to do a pineapple knot with some fake suede cords. Keep that mind and body learning...don't use it, might lose it!
Dark Brahmas have decided to bless us with a fourth egg for 2026. Man alive, I don't like pushing the birds to produce eggs but I certainly am thrilled when they do. All for selfish reasons of course, but in reality, be better they just lived thru white season and never minded. Makes me appreciate them cackleberries from home!
Second Cup sign is all wired up, the LED modules for the "O" are in town for pickup. Little extravagant as our "coffee time" early morn "night" light but hey, it'll do. Better rescued from the clean pack to fill up another space in the landfills, eh?
Now the spouse can seriously focus on his refurb of the four post hoist. I am really looking forward to him completing this part of his vintage truck resto adventures.
