question about heat and new chicks

We lost 7 of our 11 chicks that are 10 weeks old this weekend to coons, I'm in GA and the temps are really pretty high right now. What I am wondering is if I replace these with new chicks will they have a hard time with the heat (the new ones would not arrive until mid july) AND can I leave the brooder on the covered back porch since the temps are above 85 every day and not have to have them inside with the heat lamp or will it be too hot outside for them as newborns? I'm also wondering whether I could introduce them to the older girls and let them teach them what to do and when would one do that? Will they take them under their wing? Our coop issues are fixed, but I think it would be too high for the baby chicks to get in, but I could easily put our brooder next to the coop (It's a good sized rabbit hutch completely enclosed with hardware cloth - no openings for critters to get into), but this being my second time around I don't know how things go exactly when introducing babies to the flock. My girls aren't laying yet, so I don't think they would sit on incubated eggs and raise them as their own, but I'm curious what you all would do...
Thanks!

You might want to check out this site, especially the bottom half. That might help you decide when is the best time for you to introduce new chicks. People introduce new chickens to their flocks all the time. Some are more successful than others. I think this site will help you be one of the successful ones.

As babies up to a week old I keep them between 90 and 95 degrees and decrease the temp 5 degrees per week in a draft free place with feed and water always available to the chicks.
