Question about IB peachick color

Yes, if the cock is 'split to' another color. It is the difference between phenotype and genotype. Phenotype is what it looks like and genotype is what genes it carries. So an IB cock can look like just a plain old IB but it can carry another color like Cameo, Purple, etc. and will produce some of that other color in hen chicks. It takes both parents carrying that 'other' color to produce cock chicks.

I'll try and get better pictures today and post them. They are only 6 weeks old so I'm not sure if they can be sexed yet? Is that wrong?

Is this a normal color for an IB peachick? His/Her siblings look totally different.

Im calling this one a rooster as well, probably wrong just a hunch but, time will tell, keep us posted,

I'm hoping that Tavi is a hen since we have 3 full grown peacocks and one hen. We needed more hen's. This is a picture of Tavi's wings. Still hoping that we have a girl but time will tell definitely. Thanks for your help!
