Yea, sort of sounded like I was being a smarty pants didn't it?
;O)
The point I was trying to help you understand was about drafts
If you've ever been in a commercial op when you open the door there is so much suction it about tears your arm off and when inside you can feel the massive airflow all around you.
It's not only to "cool" but to exchange air and get the ammonia from the chicken urine out of there.
A "draft" would be what a chicken would encounter when they are perhaps on their roost and cold outside air is blowing through the cracks in the wall or even an open door.
It would be the same for you and me.
the type of situation that may cause hypothermia.
Looking at your pics, you need more windows, you can cut them out, use the cutout as a shudder to close up in colder times, and put rabbit wire over the opening for protection.
An environment that is comfortable for you, is also ideal for a chicken.
