This is not exactly baby chicks, but I wasn't sure where to put it.

I have 3 guinea youngsters, about 4 months old, and 3 chicken chicks, about 3-4 months old, that are currently together in the run/coop. I also have some young ducklings, about 2-3 weeks old, that I am wanting to put outside, but don't really have any place to put them.

Do you think I would be able to put the ducklings in the coop with the guineas and chicks, or would there be fighting? These ducks are so stinky, and they've got to go!

I decided to take down the wire for the 'pen' that the juvies in the backyard have. They weren't really using the pen anyway, since it has been open for months. They just come and go as they please.

So the baby ducks have their own little pen in the front yard, under the maple tree

Of course they won't go inside their 'house', prefering instead to be owl food, but I'm working on that. I put them in their house, and I 'think' they stayed there. But the security light is in the front yard, so I think they feel safer being out where the light is. Goofy birds

The only benefit the pen was doing for the juvies was giving them an escape from the stupid EE roo that wants to chase them all the time, normally they just hide till bedtime
