Old timers might hate it but will be getting hatchery stock from orchslien.
Does a person have to worry about mareks?
How long to keep separate from the flock?
Any advice appreciated going to print it all off for next spring.

Why would old timers care where you get your chickens? I don't.
Any disease is a worry. If there has been an out break near you there is more reason to worry, If you are concerned about mareks, ask when you order if they vaccinate for mareks.
Integrating the new birds with your old depends on you management style and your setup; With room a separate coop and a way for them to get away, you can start integration as soon as they can run away. With a more limited options waiting till they get full size is better.

I buy from the feed store mostly, so they're vaccinated. When I order from a hatchery, I don't vaccinate. You just need to research your area, check with your county extension.

I've not had good luck trying to bring new chicks into the older hens before 4 months or so. I tried twice with 2 month old chicks and had some killed or injured. Just my experience.
