Question about letting my hen hatch my chicks

I have 2 bantom chickens and one like to sit on the eggs. I got a few bantom eggs, barred rock, and sex-link eggs from a friend.

Todday when I went collecting their eggs I swaped out her eggs for these ones, and I let her sit on them.

She gets off every once and a while and walks around.

She is laying on them in the regular 12x12x12 nesting box on the wall. Is this fine or do they need a differnt set up for letting her rasie them.

I seperate my broody hens - in a dog crate or enclosure.
Is she really, truly broody? If she isn't, you are wasting your time.

How can you tell? The person I got them from said that she had them hatch and rasie some before.

Shes tuck all over them and wont let me get near her. The other hen is protecting her.
