Question about low temp for the first 4 days

I had an issue I didn't catch right off. My thermometer in the incubator as a double check isn't the easiest to read (I need a digital) Anyway I realized that the temp has been closer to 98 than 99.7F for 2 days. It's now day 4 and a half. I candled them and two showed normal looking embryos. Others showed blood vessels but I couldn't see an embryo. 2 eggs I couldn't see anything. I've got the temp sorted now but do you think I will loose all but those two eggs? Or am I paranoid? Is it possible to not see much or even anything on a viable egg on day 4/5?

98 shouldn't be a problem, it's not low enough to mess up development as long as you've corrected it now. Might have slowed things down a bit.
Best to keep the eggs in for a few more days. Just blood vessels is fine, the embryo isn't always positioned so you can see it clearly. The others... Hard to say at this point. If the eggs are white you should have no trouble seeing something at day 4, but if they're darker at all, it's much harder to see that early development. Give em a chance, by day 7 if they aren't developing you'll see the air cell begin to degrade and then you can be really sure.
