I have one pullet that was thought to be a mille fleur d'uccles. She is clearly not. I'm not sure if she is a mix between mille fleur and cochin, but she definitely has cochin characteristics. I don't have a pic right now, but I'll get one tomorrow.
She looks like a buff colombian? She is buff colored, and starting to get black 'spots' on her collar (?). The only other cochin bantams I have are black mottled. Am I correct in my thoughts that buff columbians X black mottled is how you get to mille fleur?
Would it be possible to tell by looking at her if she is pure cochin bantam? A friend of mine gave her to me...she was supposed to be a frizzled cochin, but looked just like a mille fleur d'uccles as a baby. Now that she is older, she looks more like a cochin, and has no beard or muffs.
