I have a turkey hen who has been sitting on eggs for 3 weeks now. They are due to hatch in one week. Another hen that is in the pen with her, has started to harass her while she is sitting. My question is, will it hurt to take the eggs out from under her and place them in the incubator or should I leave them under the broody hen? I have no way of separating the hen out of the pen so this isn't an option. I just want to know if I will hurt the eggs/babies by moving them from the nest and putting them in the incubator in a auto turner for the next 4 days, then putting them in the hatching tray for the final 3. What do you guys think???

I had to do the same thing with my hen who was run off of her nest around day 14....I moved the remaining 9 (one turned out to be a dud) out of 8 remaining ~ 4 hatched (one didn't make it) 1 exploded, one died before pipping ~ the other two never developed full term.

But I have 3 sweet babies now who hatched on Aug. 13!

Good luck!
