this summer i was mom to 8 muscovy ducklings
when they were bigger but not quite grown....i gave two to a neighbor
i was positive one was a girl and one was a boy
the 'girl' was the smallest of the ducklings........tiny with tiny feet
needless to say that 'girl' grew up to make a liar out of me
and became a boy...smaller then the other boy.......but a boy none the less
the other two boys ( out of 8 i got 3 boys and 5 girls.....we put the boys in the freezer and i kept three girls and gave two to that neighbor as replacements)
now most often the size of the feet tell you
but that one 'girl' was the SMALLEST in the entire clutch..
i was positive she was a girl
btw
at one point the boy i had kept down here seemed to be having leg issues......he (as a baby) always ALWAYS laid down instead of standing
he would walk a few feet then lay down, once he was sexually mature it didn't happen as much.....he would stand a lot then but before no
vi
i think it was a growing thing because b
