Question about my coop size...

Unfortunately this is what I have to work with...I am wanting to make it work even if I have to add to the existing structure...

Look at craigslist in your area. They have a free section and a lot of times people are getting rid of sheds and even chicken coops. You might be able to find something that you could use if you keep looking every day.

Hopefully you’ll find something that will work for you, or pieces of things that you can put together. Just keep looking every day! The free stuff disappears right away.

Note the hardware cloth covering the panels. It is much better than chicken wire. I like the end framing but would add a board from the front to the back at the top for strength.

This one shows a pretty fancy hoop coop. The roofing they used could be put on a short section for the coop while making the rest the run. I thought it was interesting.
