question about pigeons

okay hello i have 10 pigeons left i feed them everyday and out side my house there is a huge field and today i never seen any of my pigeons going on the ground i went out side and fed them on the grass does that mean the will now go on the grass more and when i walked up to them the just sort of trotted away not fly will they feed on the grass now

Maybe. Be aware that while feeding on the ground they are very vulnerable to hawk attack.

Trust me, unless you live somewhere other than North America, there are hawks where you live.
