Hello, so I am breeding my Rhode island red rooster (heritage) with my white leghorn hens. I have two questions. What color eggs will the hens lay and what will they look like? Does anyone have pictures of this cross? I know it's common but I can't exactly find very many pictures for it.

i bred my Rhode Island Red rooster with my white leghorn hen back in Early October,. Here’s how he’s looking at 18 weeks

My Rhode island rooster is a sweetie, he was a beta at his prior home and is just a year. He doesn't make my ladies yell. He is a gentleman. However I've had bad experiences with leghorn roosters. I'd say give your rooster a try..you never know. He can go either way and he is lovely.
Thankyou he is at the moment, although I’m sight worried as I’ve heard Rhode Island reds and white leghorns are the two most aggressive breeds of rooster, and mine is a combination of the two! 😂

I crossed my RIR roo with my white leghorn. 7 out of 10 hatched. We ended up with all boys! And they were loud! right away they learned how to crow. They grew up and feathered out fast. I have culled 3 of the meanest boys and am giving 2 away to a neighbor.
It's dinner time..
