WE have a rooster that just the 1 rooster and he crows too early in the morning so I want to have him sleep in bed with me to so he wont crow. WIll this work? if he tries to crow while he is in bed I will just say No crowing! and tell him off each time so he won't crow.

Sorry, unfortunately roosters don't have an off switch. They also aren't very good listeners. He's going to crow when he feels the need to. If he's crowing early, try to find what is waking him up. They normally get woken up by noises or light. If you're getting up and turning on lights in the house or making noises it will get him started. A neighbor leaving for work early could also. Mine have crowed a 2 in the morning, it's just something you get used to.

You have slept with chickens in your bed ? It is something I’d never do considering that they do a lot of pooping during the night , not healthy for you to be enhailing the dander , it’s bad for your lungs.

All that aside , a bird is not a dog, you won’t train him .cant you close the coop door? If it’s dark and quiet he won’t crow

Good luck

Do you have a garage or shed? If you can, Get a crate and make him sleep in that in the shed/garage. That way he will probably won’t crow in the box (If he does, He’s still shut off in your garage). And you can let him out when you wake up.

Also, Do you mean the rooster actually sleeping in Your bed? How do you stop them from pooing on it?
