Question about rouens colors

I have 8 rouens total right now. Last week I sold 2 others. I just today got 3 of the 8. The ones that I already had, and the ones that I sold last week, all had purple 'bars' at the end of their wings. The 3 I got today have green ones? What gives?

I think thats called the speculum, and probably for showing it needs to be a specific color.
