Question about selling and follow through on ad posted here

Hi, I want to bid on an ad or auction here for some baby critters. I emailed the person and they had 4 critters to sell. Then when the person found out who was wanting the critters they wanted a trade for something I had. I said no and then they said they had no critters that maybe next hatch. Well they have an auction here and now and ends today. If I bid and win do they have to sell the critters to me? They have not cancelled the auction or updated with sold. I hope this is the right place for this question and if not please direct me. Thanks!

I have no idea if this is the right section, but I'd say that if you are the winner and do your part (pay on time, provide your address, etc.) then, yes, they should sell to you under the terms of the auction. That's not to say that they couldn't claim something went wrong or something, but both sides can leave feedback, too, on how the sale went, so you'd have that on your side. Hopefully you win and everything goes smoothly. Good luck.
