Hello! Years ago when I was having a problem with the horrid stick tight flea, I Googled a solution and found a suggestion (probably on one of these forums ;)) about how to deal with stick tight fleas on chickens. Someone had used some Sevin dust mixed with petroleum jelly, applied carefully to the affected area. It works like a charm and I still use this method when the fleas get bad, but I'm wondering if anyone has done this and saved the leftover Sevin/petroleum jelly mixture for future use (I will sometimes treat my chickens with the flea problem in phases until the fleas are all gone). I often have some of the mixture left over and was wondering if anyone has saved it in a old Tupperware or plastic bag for future use, and if so, how long they kept it until disposing of it? Trying to be less wasteful :).
