Well, you figured out I had an 8 week old chick that needs sexing. It is an Silver Duckwing Ameraucana/not sure cross. I was looking at the methods on the internet (not sure if reliable). One was comb size at 8 weeks. They said males have bigger red combs and females have smaller orangish combs at 8 weeks. Is this method reliable? If it is, I have a pullet. The 2nd method I considered was wing feather size. They said females' wingfeathers are all the same size and males have different sized wingfeathers. Is this method reliable? If it is, I have a pullet.
