I recently purchased 6 Button Quail eggs and there were some delays during shipping and it happened during the bomb cyclone. There was a heat pad inside. The eggs should have gotten here in 2 days but took about 7 days. They have been in the incubator about 6 days now. I'm not sure what to look for at this point with handling. All I seem to see is the yolk inside as a dark spot. No veins yet. Is it still too early? Might they still hatch?
Sorry they were so held up. Maybe give them a couple more days just in case, but when incubation is only about 16 days there should be some development at day 6.
