Do (grown, feathered) chickens do well being shipped during the colder months? Like a pair of Silkies?
I live in southeastern NC, and winters don't get much lower than the 30's on average.
I would also be buying from southern breeders... if that's important.
My plan was to wait till Spring to purchase again, but I was wondering.
Silkies are addictive, and winters can be boring at times.
