question about something i saw at the lake yesterday.

Quote:
There were(some have been dismantled) silos in Idaho, Montana,North Dakota, Missouri, Wyoming, Colorado, New York, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, Arizona, Washington, Nebraska, Oklahoma, etc.... Put in places where others would not suspect them to be.

edited to add other states.

I looked up government areas near heyburn and I think it is probably just an animal refuge area. They probably have something breeding or nesting in that area. They do it here in ohio sometimes. They also hang specialty bird houses and stuff.

blah...i called them back and i found out that its just a sand filter!

i was all thinking it was something exciting..guess not!

oh no, this is right outside of sapulpa..which is only a few miles from tulsa.
that is interesting though, that article.

If it is a strategic military site I will have chain link fence no less the 10' tall & barbed wire at the top. It will have a sign stating property of the U S Government or Federal Property & say keep out. There will be no other signage. If it is a protected site or study site it should state the purpose with a web link to give you more info. If it is a project of the Army Corp of Engineers it should state the project & a phone number.

Sometimes signs do fall off or people take them off. All silos in operation should have 3 guns manning it. You might not know there there but they are.
