Question about Sportsman Cabinet Incubator

My friend is in a discussion about how to place eggs in the trays to incubate. Me and my friend say pointy end up and another friend says pointy end down. What is the right way? In my LG the directions say small end up is it the same?

Pointy end down if your hatching or storing eggs always.
