Question about starter feed.

I haven't had ducks since I was a kid, but I remember my dad and grandfather fed them only cracked corn. They were mallards and pretty wild. They did forage and had a huge pond.

So after my ducks feather out I can keep feeding them non-medicated chick starter even after they are grown? I'm still not clear as to what to feed them as adults!

You can keep feeding them the starter/grower as adults, it won't hurt them. We just prefer the poultry pellet or gamebird pellet for once they are mature. There is alot less waste with it and they do very well on it. We usually mix cracked corn with it through the winter. They are pretty spoiled though, most of our waterfowl pick the pellets out first and eat the cracked corn as a last resort.
