I can relate. Our low was 39 this early morning. Three ducks were swimming and one looked like she had just finished swimming.
Based on the poo they left behind, They spent some time under the stars, some time inside the dogloo and some time on the pond ramp.
I was freezing my butt off this morning. But they were fat, chatty and sassy. I'm pretty sure they think I'm strange because I won't swim with them.
We haven't electrified our pen yet. I read some personal stories about ducks electrocuting themselves bin it. We do have done bigger nocturnal carnivores here so we may have to electrify it later.
