question about temps/humidity in LG 'bator

Which thermo/hygro did you get? The accurite? If so, the sensor on the thermo is about midway of the device. I just stood mine up next to the eggs. That's where I used the 100 degree temp setting at. If you put it on something, it will be too high, and the temp of the eggs will be too cold.

i dont see any plugs in it..(i borrowed it from a friend)..there are 2 small holes in the top though..maybe thats where they were at?..so..keep the holes open then?...

There is usually two red plugs in it but if the holes are about the size of a dime try and find something to plug them with. From there you should get the temp to about 100 degrees(or the correct temp depends on what eggs). The once you have the temp unplug one of the holes. Once your on day 18 remove the other plug so the eggs can get more ventalation.

watch you will do all this freaking out and have one of the best hatches.

I don't even have a hum gauge lol...I can't find one anywhere! Once you have your temp at 100 with both holes plugged, unplug one and then set your eggs. So when you have your eggs in from day1-17 ,1 plug is unplugged. From day 18-21 unplug both. Thats the the manual said to do with my LG still air when I got it.
