Question about the 18th and stop turning them

I have an auto egg turner but only half the racks are on it so i could move the eggs down on the 18th day instead of taking the whole thing out and manually turning the other eggs that arent scheduled to hatch.

Tomorrow is the 18th day and when i put them down on the wire do i put the egg vertical or horizontal??
or does it matter? And can i put like a tissue or something under them??????

i put mine in carboard egg cartons with the top cut off and a dime size hole cut out in each egg slot, just as if they were still in the turner

How many days have the other eggs you have in there been there. You are going to have to up your humidity to hatch and that will hurt the other eggs plus you will have to open the bator to turn the others/
