Question about Turkeys

I have hens randomly laying eggs all over the pen. They won't make a nest or sit. Does anyone know what I could do to promote this?

Put a low box in a private corner with a nest egg and keep your fingers crossed

I've got nearly a whole bale of hay with a 4-4 sheet of plywood tilted over in the inside of their shed. I've been putting the eggs there.

I read on this blog https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=2593-Buff_Orpingtons , where they put golf balls in the nest boxes to help the chickens know where to lay, and it apparently worked.

We used golf balls in our chicken nest boxes also and it seemed to work for the chickens. Our turkey hens always seemed to find a quiet place in our yard. They seemed to like under our grape arbor or in the edge of the woods.
