Question about zucchini

Same reason they plant a whole passel of tomatoes... they don't actually expect them to produce all that well.

I think I'm the only person alive who can't seem to grow squash successfully. It's embarrassing, I tell ya'!

I usually only have one zucchini plant but I still end up with more than any sane person really needs.

I can tell you one way to have way too many zucchini;

Mom loves cucumbers, so she planted them all over. She also loves zucchini, but she did not see any coming up so we had to go and BUY a 6 pack of seedlings.

Well, about a month later we realized, all those cucumbers mom planted, were actually zucchini!


On a side note, we are looking for Greyzini Zucchini seeds if anyone has extra

Last year we had TON of it... sooo.. i shredded it up into 2 cup portions.... and now when i want zucchini bread its handy in my freezer...
I also shredded up a bunch and froze it for the critters to eat during the winter here.... they're STILL eating it!
