what kind of temp range should I expect from my wafer therm? I understand some ppl like the wafer therms and some hate them. my question is not to strike controversy. I'm letting my bator stabilize till the 5-9-12 witch is the day I will be setting. ill fine tune it tomorrow. I just need to know what the differential range is. ex. .25° or .5° or 1°.

The temperature difference is usually 0.5 degrees. Most people that have problems with the wafer thermostats, have them in ridiculous places in the incubator.
In my cabinet incubator, the wafer thermostat is 3 inches from 1 of the 2 (75 watt) light bulbs that are used to heat my cabinet incubator.
I have temperatures of 99.3 to 100.0!

(By the way, the light bulbs in these pictures are not what I use, I use 75 watt incandescent light bulbs, I was just using these for testing to see if I wired everything correctly.)
