Question: California quail breeding tips please

I have 11 California quail, they are now all pared up for breeding and I have one male alone now... He has become vary depressed and I don't really now what to do?? What should I do

Seems a little early for them to be pairing up? but I guess it's possible. You say it's depressed, how do you know that?...could be a disease! What's it's poop look like, is it eating and drinking? Does it have a 'fluffed up' appearance?
If it's not sick, than you can either find another female to pair him with or leave him single until you can find a mate. It won't traumatized or hurt him in anyway to be single.

He has been more aggressive trying to attack me and calling for a female.. he has been eating and drinking regularly, and his droppings are normal. I don't really know what is Rong with him
