Ok So my grandfarther got this beautiful Show rooster that him and I had lots of breeding plans for. (Just getting into breeding
). About 3 weeks ago it broke his leg. My papa was gonna kill it. NO haha no your not...and we made a cast (after putting the bone back *ithink* and he was doing the same (limping badly ) for about 3 weeks now. about 5 days ago he called me and said it was so bad he thinks its gonna die. So he took of the cast and it is starting to put a little weight on its leg.
My Question: Its Comb is extremly Pale. Like a broody's hen. Is this the pain he's going through? When will he stop limping? If he heals we wanted to give him his own coop with 3 SQ black hens......
Thoughts comments and expert advice needed. (;
